From Interfaces to iLoks, Media Musicians United's assistance has the media composer, musician, and professional in mind. Film Musician United also helps source temporary studio space and writing rooms, whatever you need to get your livelihood back as quickly as possible.

We, a community of film music makers, are committed to ensuring that film musicians of all kinds who have been impacted by the 2025 LA Fires can rebuild, restore and continue to create.

Resources

ASCAP Fire Relief Fund

This emergency relief fund has been established to assist ASCAP Writer Members in the Los Angeles area who have suffered loss or damage to their primary residence or studio, or been evacuated from their homes as a result of the LA fires.

MusicCares

MusicCares is offering eligible music professionals affected by the wildfires $1,500 in financial assistance and a $500 grocery. Additional long-term disaster relief available includes evacuation and relocation costs; damage to music instruments, equipment, vehicles, and spaces; medical care; mental health services and other essential living expenses.

Craft Emergency Relief Fund

Craft Emergency Relief Fund provides emergency relief for craft artists. Building educational resources to empower craft artists to prepare for, navigate and thrive in the wake of emergencies and disasters If you are a craft artist or artisan affected by the fires, please visit their recovery resources and submit an application for their Emergency Relief program.

Entertainment Community Fund

Emergency financials assistance is available to eligible performing arts and entertainments professionals in times of unexpected critical need.

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund is providing immediate financial assistance to music industry professionals impacted by natural disasters such as the L.A. wildfires.

Guitar Center Music Foundation

If you are a music creator who is in need to replace instruments and/or gear due to the L.A. wildfires, The Guitar Center Music Foundation and Guitar Center are offering grants.

Media Musicians United Wildfire Relief Gear Drive

It has been a heartbreaking time in Los Angeles seeing so many colleagues lose their homes and with that, their livelihoods.

All recipients will be kept strictly confidential.

Silent Auction Fundraiser

In partnership with Music Rising, administered by Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation, Media Musicians United will be hosting a Silent Auction at the 6th Annual SCL Awards.

We are currently accepting a variety of donations, including computers, instruments, microphones, outboard gear, iLoks, preamps, and anything that aids in the writing and recording process. We are also seeking studio time and other services.

Additionally, we welcome fundraising cash matches, traditional auction items, and corporate sponsorships for members of our beautiful community who have lost everything!
